We are thrilled to announce that Mike Burns has joined Spivey Consulting Group as our new Chief Operating Officer and Admissions Consultant! Mike is a nationally respected law school admissions professional with an impressive thirty-year career in law school administration, most recently at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he served as Chief of Staff and Lecturer; Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Engagement; and Director of Admissions & Financial Aid. He has evaluated over 50,000 applications for law school admission and has held key leadership positions at four law schools in admissions, career services, and student affairs. His vast experience, recent leadership in navigating the evolving landscape of admissions following the SFFA v. Harvard Supreme Court decision, and deep understanding of legal education make him an exceptionally valuable addition to our team.
As Chief Operating Officer of the Spivey Consulting Group, Mike will be managing the administration of our consulting services to colleges, universities, and law schools, and will also be utilizing his extensive admissions experience and expertise to advise applicants as an Admissions Consultant.
