Sam Parker brings seven years of experience at Harvard Law School to her work helping applicants navigate the application process with insight, warmth, strategy, and precision.
Sam Parker has over a decade of experience working in higher education, including seven years at Harvard Law School. Most recently, Sam worked as an Associate Director in the HLS J.D. Admissions Office under Dean Kristi Jobson.
As a voting member of the Harvard Law School admissions committee, Sam helped finalize decisions for over 40,000 applicants and conducted over 1,000 interviews. She also directed the Junior Deferral Program. In addition to her experience in law school admissions, she has advised hundreds of students through her previous roles in student services.
Sam absolutely loves providing individualized support to students and empowering them through mentorship and advising. She can’t wait to work with applicants and help them get into the law school of their dreams.
Sam is originally from the great state of Kansas and currently resides in Massachusetts. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and her master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her free time, Sam enjoys listening to audio books, hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, camping on Cape Cod, and cooking vegetarian meals for her family.
